Vege Sensation

If you happened to drop by serangoon, you can perhaps visit Vege Sensation near the Serangoon MRT station. It's only 5 mins walk to the veg. stall, near the expressway. I went there yesterday for lunch as I was curious about the taste of the food which was compliment by many.

The atmosphere of the stall was not really good, but is still ideal for having a quick meal. I ordered the Wonton Mee ($4) once I settled down as I found out that it's the best dish in the stall.

No doubt, the Wonton mee live up one's reputation! The sauce base was fanastic, sweet fragrance and delightful. In case you felt that the mee was only a handful, well, don't be deceived by its' appearance! The mee was quite a mountain! The plate of wonton includes 3 wontons, and the wontons was wrapped with many ingredients. Haha.. but I prefered the simple wonton that I fried by myself, which only has beancurd and carrot. :P

We also ordered fish & chips ($7), and Shilin pork chop ($10). Hmm.. these two dishes are not bad, butthe price of the dishes are not worth the value.

If you want to order Shilin pork chop, think twice, because ordering chicken chop would be a better choice! The reason is, chicken chop is more oiishi, cheaper by 3 bucks and there are french fries!!! Shilin pork chop do not serve with fries, haha!

If you are interested to go, visit the link below for more photos!

LingZhi Vegetarian Restaurant

So finally I went to LingZhi Vegetarian Restaurant for hi tea(or high tea?) buffet last Thursday. Some photo shots of some snacks and dim sum over there...

Hi Tea Buffet starts at 3pm till 5pm. Take note that the last order is 4.30pm.
Since it's still CNY, the cost is more expensive than normal opening days as there's an extra dish~ Yu Sheng during CNY period.
For adult is $15.80++
For child is $11.80++
*The ++ is for 7% GST and 10% service charge.
Though the brochure says that there're 28 dishes, we didn't manage to taste all of them as foods there are subject to availablity (which is written on the brochure).
The ambience is quite nice too.
Can try it out but not during CNY cos it's more expensive.
